Our ambitious refurbishment project was completed earlier this year. This was a very exciting project that has improved The Windermere greatly.

Our renovations included updates and the freshening up of our guest rooms and common areas. A luxurious upgrade of our reception, lounge, restaurant and bar areas. The addition of air conditioning to our public areas. The installation of a beautifully silent passenger lift, which travels to every level of our 5 storey building. The restoration of original detailing to our Victorian building (c. 1857) which were lost during World War II, including pediments, corbels and cornicing.
