One of the greatest musical of all time! The original Broadway classic returns to Sadler’s Wells.

11 August: FA Community Shield at Wembley Stadium

The London Lions v Iowa Hawkeyes
16 – 18 August: Canary Wharf Jazz Festival
London’s largest free live jazz festival returns to Canada Square Park.
16 – 18 August: FEAST at Battersea Park
London’s biggest picnic! Opening hours: 11am – 9pm
17 August: Eid in the Square
Mark the end of the holy fasting month of Ramadan with a free festival. Join the celebrations at Trafalgar Square. The festivities include live music, food stalls and exhibitions.
21 – 25 August: 5th Investec Ashes Test: England v Australia
The fifth and final Ashes Test takes place at the Kia Oval.
25 – 26 August: Notting Hill Carnival
Held every August Bank Holiday weekend since 1966. The Notting Hill Carnival is the largest carnival in Europe.
